Kakanin comes on different types, flavors and colors. "Colors? What do you mean by colors?" I mean food coloring or let's say, Ube. Ube is a purple yam that is also a Favorite Filipino Flavor. When it is Pounded, crushed or broken down, and is mixed into a dish, it turn the dish into a purple-like color. Same does it with kakanin. Like Puto, a rice cake, it comes in different colors and flavors.
